1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup sugar
1/8 cup white wine
1 tablespoon salad oil
2 teaspoons cornstarch

Place all the ingredients in a microwave-safe dish and stir. Cover with a vented microwave lid and cook on HIGH (1200W) for 1 – 1 1/2 minutes.

Take out and stir until the sauce becomes thickened.
* This is a perfect sauce for chicken, pork, and beef teriyaki or for salmon and a seafood grill. Make an instant rice bowl by placing smoked salmon on steamed rice with teriyaki sauce.
